We kit you out with a kayak, paddle, life jacket and lilo and then launch you on a great adventure accompanied by our experienced and friendly guides. The adventure most definitely also includes ample, unforgettable moments.
Children older than 5 years may do the Kayak and Lilo Adventure, while children wanting to do the more challenging Half-day Adventure should be at least 8 years old.
You need to be able to climb over rocks but the Kayak and Lilo Adventure is easily manageable by non-active people. You do need to be moderately fit to enjoy the Half-day Adventure though.
Pfffff! So what if it rains? You going to get wet anyway! And the rain adds splendour to the scenery.
All water-based activities are subject to weather conditions for your safety’s sake. However, if the sea conditions are too unsafe for a group to kayak across, we are apt to creatively adapt without shipwrecking your experience! The kayak and lilo trip is then transformed into an exciting guided hike over the famous suspension bridge, followed by a kayak and lilo trip up the river.
You need closed shoes, a towel, sunscreen, a hat and a change of clothes.
Be sure to bring your camera or phone to snap and share some memories – waterproof bags are provided free of charge.
If you’d like to put yourself in our shoes for a day, you can hire aqua booties from us at R40.
Absolutely! R100 per hour when you go on your own snorkelling adventure; R50 as an add-on to the Kayak and Lilo Adventure. This is applicable to all sizes.
Nope (although we believe kayaking is a crucial life skill!). No previous experience is needed – we’ll gladly help newbies to find their sea legs. The minimum age for this adventure is 5 (when accompanied by an adult). Note that the maximum weight capacity for a kayak is 190 kg (for 2 persons), so you might want to check the scales beforehand if you’ve been on holiday for a while! The ability to swim when going out to sea is obviously always ideal.
All snorkel gear is available for hire at an hourly rate. Guided snorkelling trips are subject to availability of the dive master – so book ahead!
Our prices do not include park fees. Please be prepared to pay fees to enter the Tsitsikamma National Park.
